Greece:

Sharp expands partnership with Eurosol for the Greek PV market

Eurosol, with head offices in Ludwigshafen, Germany, is an international project development and EPC company in the power generation field for renewable and alternative energy sources. A trusted business relationship of 15 years between Sharp Energy Solutions Europe and Eurosol has evolved into a successful strategic partnership that is making material inroads in the Greek PV market. Eurosol, acting as an EPC company for a variety of grid-connected plants (FIT and Net-metering), and as a provider for “Energy Communities,” is the exclusive supplier of Sharp panels, whose track record is consistent impeccable quality with zero reported defects. After supplying a total of 40 MWp over the past several months, the current pipeline for the next 3 quarters is planned at 42 MWp. Sharp and Eurosol marketing activities for Sharp PV panels have generated growing interest — especially in the new NU-JD540 and the NU-JD445 panels, both featuring 0/+5% positive tolerance and a 15-year EU product warranty, with 9 and 10 bus bar technology, respectively.

Low temperature coefficient for high yield even in the heat

Simon Betka, Sales Manager, Sharp Energy Solutions Europe: “We are very pleased with our business expansion with Eurosol. This agreement marks a strong alliance to continue growing together in the Greek market. Our half-cut cell panels NU-JD445 and NU-JD540 are ideal for Eurosol projects in Greece, especially with its low temperature coefficient to provide sufficient yield even on very often hot summer days.”

“With Sharp panels, Eurosol offers its customers the quality of a historic brand,” says Spyros Xanthis, General Manager of Eurosol. “In the volatile and uncertain business environment

we are operating in, Sharp panels’ reliability offers the needed reassurance, that projects will be long-term successes with guaranteed ROI. Sharp Solar backs it with more than 60 years of experience and with a 15-year EU product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty at 85% of nominal power, and will also continue improving all aspects of its panels, like the latest measurable reduction of temperature coefficients. Higher quality always leads to higher expectations, and Sharp modules really deliver.” (mfo)
