More than 70 companies will present their innovations, services and ideas in the Augsburg exhibition halls. Around 900 participants are expected at the conference. The official conference partner is the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE). The conference language is English.

The most important topics at a glance
Affordable and clean energy as well as access to clean drinking water is only possible in large parts of the world through the expansion of off-grid energy supply. These issues are the focus of this year's conference:
- Women entrepreneurs and off-grid renewable energy.
- Technical innovations of small wind systems for the offgrid sector
- Integrated cooking with solar energy in developing countries
- Use of green hydrogen for off-grid energy access
- Energy storage for uninterrupted energy supply
- Best practices in bioenergy and micro-hydropower
Techday with training sessions
In addition, some companies will offer exclusive product training sessions at the Augsburg Trade Fair Conference Centre one day before the event (6 December 2023) as part of the Techday. Participation is free of charge, but requires pre-registration as part of the ticket purchase. (HS/mfo)
