Soltech's Swedish subsidiary Takorama Elteknik has secured a framework agreement with Svenska Bostäder, one of Sweden's largest housing companies, to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure across 166 properties in Stockholm. The assignment covers around 4,250 parking spaces and carries a potential value of approximately SEK 150 million including options, with an initial term of one year.

The agreement forms part of a broader push by Svenska Bostäder, which aims to have charging infrastructure across its entire property portfolio by 2030. For Takorama Elteknik, the work spans the full project lifecycle: an initial inventory and site analysis, dimensioning of electrical installations, switchboards and cabinets, earthworks, data communication, and coordination with grid operators, alongside the installation and commissioning of charging boxes in garages and parking areas.
Takorama Elteknik operates within Soltech's Electricity business area, which brings together several specialist companies, including E-Mobility, Tlab, Provektor and TG:s El, covering electrical installations, charging infrastructure, lighting, energy storage, solar power and switchgear.
"This is an assignment that demonstrates the strength and synergies we have built up in the long term in our joint offering in the Electricity business area," said Tommy Stoltz Björk, Business Area Manager for Electricity at Soltech Energy. "We are both proud and motivated to use our expertise and execution power to carry out this project in close collaboration with Svenska Bostäder, a housing company that really prioritizes charging infrastructure in connection with its properties."

For Soltech, the deal adds to a steady stream of infrastructure contracts in the Swedish property sector, where ageing electrical systems and rising EV adoption are pushing housing companies to plan charging rollouts at scale. (TF)
