New catalogue from EMC-direct gathers the ground-mount essentials

EMC-direct, the Dorsten-based specialist in cable management and installation components for ground-mounted solar, has published its 2026 photovoltaics catalogue – nearly 140 pages covering the full range of C-parts that rarely feature in project announcements but matter considerably on site.

The catalogue spans seven product categories: cable ties, mounting clips, corrugated conduit and cable protection, heat-shrink tubing, solar connectors, electrical termination technology and tooling. The connector range includes the original MC4 and MC4 EVO2 and EVO Ready variants from Stäubli, alongside systems from Weidmüller and Phoenix Contact. Tools are sold under EMC-direct's own TOOLOVA® brand, with a ten-year manufacturer's guarantee.

EMC-direct – wiring systems correctly and safely

EMC-direct describes itself not simply as a supplier of premium C-parts but as a project partner for EPCs, installers and operators, offering logistical support, procurement services and technical advice alongside the hardware. In recent years the company has been involved in numerous ground-mounted solar installations across Europe, including several projects exceeding 100 MW.

"Our goal is to bring coordinated components together into a capable, practical complete system for safe installation, long-term protection and reliable electrical connections," says Thaddäus Nagy, managing director of EMC-direct.

Practical labelling system

One practical element of the catalogue is the EMC UV-Stabil labelling system, which rates products for outdoor longevity on a scale from five to 40-plus years. For project developers selecting materials across multiple product categories, the rating offers a straightforward cross-reference for site and climate conditions – useful given that UV exposure, moisture and temperature cycling are among the more predictable causes of component degradation in the field.

EMC-direct – human factor behind high costs

Logistics coverage extends beyond Germany. EMC-direct offers direct project delivery across Europe and handles export and overseas shipments including sea freight, reflecting the growing internationalisation of utility-scale solar development.

The catalogue is available in German and English. Nagy is keen to stress it is more than a product index: "With logistics, consultancy and tailored support, we help our customers in the solar industry focus clearly on their core competencies. On this basis we are continuing to expand our business across Europe, with a clear focus on ground-mounted solar parks." (TF)
