The channel is designed for permanent outdoor use and can also be installed in confined spaces or complex cable routing situations. It is available in dimensions of up to 300 by 80 millimetres and is classified for fire resistance classes I30 to I120 in accordance with DIN 4102-11.
The system is suitable for both new builds and the retrofitting of existing photovoltaic systems. A general type approval (allgemeine Bauartgenehmigung) has been granted, and installation instructions and further documentation are available online. (nhp)
