A photovoltaic glass with a coating made of quantum dots

Innovative glass with quantum dots coating is a solution developed by ML System scientists, allowing the generation of free electricity from the sun, while maintaining translucency and a high insulation coefficient. This is made possible by the revolutionary use of a coating consisting of quantum dots - small semiconductors ranging in size from a few to several nanometres. They convert UV and infrared radiation into electrical energy. The glass has very good light transmission parameters and reduces the overheating effect. The efficiency of quantum coatings is not affected by the angle of incidence of light. The glasses can generate electricity even from artificial light.
