By joining forces, the two companies will deliver integrated solutions. Talesun, with an agrivoltaic project development pipeline exceeding 1 GW over the next three years, will oversee project development and construction using Alphatracker’s purpose-built agrivoltaic solutions. Each project will be tailored to the typical crops of the respective region, combining photovoltaic generation with the cultivation of olive trees, grapevines, fruit trees or herbaceous crops, among others, the companies stated. According to Talesun, the project series represents an investment of more than €700 million.

In related news, the Chilean fund ICBM Plus, which primarily invests in mining and has recently expanded into renewable energy across Europe, has announced plans to build agrivoltaic and photovoltaic plants totalling 124 MW, with a particular focus on Italy. Alphatracker has also been named as the tracker supplier. (hcn)
