UK: European Energy green solar hydrogen project shortlisted for funding

Shortlisted for UK government funding, the Selms Muir Hydrogen hub in Scotland will combine green hydrogen production with solar power to support net zero goals in the United Kingdom.

Temporis Capital, Clarke Energy and Trina Storage have joined forces to deliver a large-scale battery storage project at Boat of Garten, Scotland. Trina Storage will supply its Elementa solution.

Temporis Capital, Clarke Energy and Trina Storage have entered into construction contracts to deliver a 50MW/100MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Boat of Garten in the Scottish Highlands, with Clarke Energy providing the EPC wrap and Trina Storage supplying the BESS system, including its Elementa solution for the project.

Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) and BYD UK announced that their electric vehicle partnership has taken an order for 22 BYD ADL Enviro200EV electric single deck buses from First Bus in Glasgow/Scotland.

The solar carport will allow Aviva to reduce its onsite carbon emissions by around 400,000 kg per annum.
