Sebastian Poensgen is managing director of Priogo AG in Zülpich.
My vision:

Sebastian Poensgen from Priogo: Using all sectors

-

We are already at a point with renewable energies that none of us could have imagined reaching even five years ago. Nevertheless, almost all projects are still thought of in far too one-dimensional a way, each based on a specific type of renewable energy production.

Franz-Josef Feilmeier is Managing Director of Fenecon in Deggendorf.
My vision:

Franz-Josef Feilmeier of Fenecon: Do not think small - 100 per cent renewables

-

My and our vision as Fenecon is the 100 per cent energy transition. By this we mean a world that is supplied with 100 per cent renewable energies - for electricity, heating/cooling and mobility.

Electrification and renewable energy are a much stronger driver for the decarbonization of the energy system than the time-consuming expansion of large-scale infrastructure.
EM-Power Europe:

Combined heat and power as a key component of sustainable energy supply

-

The world’s energy supply needs to become flexible, clean and cost-effective. This requires the coupling of the electricity, heat and transportation sectors.

When fully developed, an SMR-wind plant at Wylfa would provide 3 gigawatts of reliable, zero-carbon electricity.
Wind-hybrid energy:

The analysis by CO2 Online has found out that tenants of an average apartment in a renovated building pay up to 545 euros less for heating than those in unrenovated buildings.
Renewable heating:

Switching to heating with renewables is becoming worthwhile

-

With the switch to renewable energies for heating, tenants can be shielded against rising costs. How these costs rose in the past year in Germany, shows the current heating report of CO2 Online.

With an overall efficiency of more than 85 per cent, the solid oxide fuel cell is clearly superior to any other energy converter.
Stationary fuel cell:

Bosch plans to start full-scale production in 2024

-

Bosch and Ceres Power intensify partnership to prepare for full-scale production. The aim is an annual production capacity of some 200 megawatts. Up to 2024, Bosch plans to invest hundreds of millions of euros in the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC).
