Sungrow signs 213-megawatt contract with Ibitu Energia

Sungrow recently closed a 213 MW contract with Ibitu Energia, a Brazilian renewable energy company. As part of the contract, Sungrow will supply its 1,500 volt DC central inverter solutions for the construction of the solar complex in north-eastern Brazil.

Sungrow announced that a 100 MW retrofit PV project with 1500Vdc central inverter solutions has been operational for 12 months in Benban Solar Park, Egypt. Reportedly the largest retrofit PV undertaking in the MENA region, the project boosts the performance of the existing asset for customers.
