Commissioning of the two 150 MW solar parks in Brandenburg will take place in stages by end of March, EnBW announced. They are combined with 3.9 MWh battery storage systems each and use bifacial solar modules.

The trend towards bifacial solar modules continues. Schletter has supplied the mounting systems in Spain for a 2 MW open area plant with a new module clamp adapter. This reduces shading on the underside of the module considerably.

LONGi is reporting strong sales of its high-efficiency bifacial solar modules. It is expected that the production capacity of LONGi Hi-MO 5 will reach 12GW end of this year.
