As part of a strategic agreement with Tier-1 manufacturer Western Heat Energy Solutions (WHES), BayWa r.e. will distribute WHES battery storage systems in key European markets. The deal grants BayWa r.e. exclusive distribution rights in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Lithuania, Greece, Albania and Kosovo, strengthening its commercial energy storage portfolio across the region.
Krannich expands storage offer with Sunwoda Energy systems
The modular all-in-one systems are tailored for commercial and industrial (C&I) use, combining WHES’s proprietary power conversion and energy management components (PCS and EMS) with CATL battery modules. CATL is both a strategic shareholder and manufacturing partner. Delivered as pre-assembled, IP55-rated outdoor units, the systems integrate with the PANGU OS energy platform to enable smart energy management and scalable project deployment. Target customers include installers and EPCs.
