These offerings highlight JA Solar’s commitment to providing a fully integrated portfolio of PV and storage solutions, allowing EPCs, installers and other stakeholders to access high-efficiency modules and scalable energy storage from a single trusted supplier.
DeepBlue 5.0 modules
At the centre of JA Solar’s KEY 2026 showcase is DeepBlue 5.0, the company’s fifth-generation n-type TOPCon technology. The JAM66D50 GB modules deliver up to 670 W in a double-glass bifacial design, making them suitable for large-scale commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
For C&I installations, JA Solar will also present the JAM60D40LB module from its DeepBlue 4.0 Pro range, which offers 510 W in a double-glass bifacial configuration. This module gives EPCs and installers flexibility across a wide range of rooftop applications.
DPE confirmed as co-event at KEY 2026
The JAM54D41-LB series is suitable for both C&I and residential installations, featuring high-efficiency n-type bifacial, double-glass, full-black solar modules with power outputs of up to 460 W. These modules are used at Signal Iduna Park, home of Borussia Dortmund.
Completing the portfolio, JA Solar will showcase a selection of high-efficiency n-type modules for residential installations, available in bifacial and monofacial double-glass designs and delivering outputs in the mid-400 W range.
JAPlanet C&I battery storage
At KEY 2026, JA Solar will also introduce JAPlanet, a next-generation C&I battery energy storage system. Already deployed at several sites in Italy through strategic partner Noon srl, the 261 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) system combines high energy density with an integrated 125 kW Power Conversion System (PCS) in a compact, modular architecture. JAPlanet is scalable up to 20 units (5.2 MWh), enabling adaptation to a broad range of C&I applications.
KEY 2026 – advancing new investment models
JAPlanet achieves 87 percent round-trip efficiency on the AC side, with advanced liquid cooling maintaining cell temperatures within ±1.5 °C to optimise performance, extend battery life and reduce auxiliary consumption. Battery safety is built in and validated to UL9540A, including thermal runaway detection, millisecond insulation monitoring and a three-tier fire protection system.
The system is backed by a five-year warranty, with a minimum state of health (SOH) of 80 percent or 8,000 cycles, AI-driven predictive maintenance and remote diagnostics to ensure high product availability. JAPlanet supports peak shaving, demand-side management and time-of-use optimisation. (hcn)
