The C&I SDT series has already been certified for low‑noise operation by TÜV Rheinland, and operates at full load with a noise level below 50 decibels. With a maximum input current of 20 amperes per string, the inverter is compatible with standard solar modules and features four independent MPPTs.
The inverter also supports oversizing of up to 180 percent, ensuring optimal performance by maximising energy yield during periods of low solar irradiation. Its wide input voltage range of 140 to 1,000 volts DC offers greater flexibility in system design. For higher energy requirements, up to ten of the new inverters can be connected in parallel.
The SDT G3 is equipped with integrated string monitoring, type II surge protection on both AC and DC sides, and an optional AI-based technology for arc detection and mitigation. It also features a remote shutdown function. With IP66 protection, the inverter is designed for long service life in demanding outdoor environments. (nhp)
