Fenecon unveils storage system with up to 904 kilowatt-hours

Storage capacity ranges from 452 to 904 kilowatt-hours, with power output between 184 and 368 kilowatts. The system uses battery inverters from Kaco. The FEMS energy management system offers a range of functions for multi-use applications. Target customers include commercial operators, agricultural businesses and post-EEG installations. Manufacturing takes place in Germany.

Fenecon had already expanded its portfolio earlier with the Commercial 100. This commercial storage system features a hybrid inverter rated at 100 kilowatts and a scalable storage capacity of 39.2 to 420 kilowatt-hours. The growing interest in commercial storage is driven in part by the exemption from grid fees in energy market trading that has applied since January. (nhp)
