The project was developed to “ready-to-build” by GroenLeven and will connect to TenneT’s high-voltage transmission grid. Vopak will now lead the next phase, aiming to build a utility-scale lithium-ion battery storage system (BESS) that enhances the flexibility and reliability of the national energy system.
