The Vertex S+ G3 series is designed for residential and commercial rooftops and comprises three variants. The standard module (NEG9RP.28Z) delivers up to 485 watts with an efficiency of 24.3 percent. Its low-voltage, high-current design allows for longer module strings. Trinasolar specifies annual degradation of 0.35 percent.
The full-black variant (NEG9R.25Z) delivers up to 480 watts at 24 percent efficiency and is designed for residential rooftops. The Shield variant (NED9R.28Z) also delivers up to 485 watts and is engineered for high mechanical strength and hail resistance.
The Vertex N G3 series targets large-scale rooftop and ground-mounted installations. Based on the G12 210 mm platform, the module delivers up to 760 watts at an efficiency of 24.5 percent. The dual-glass design features a bifaciality factor of up to 85 percent. According to the manufacturer, the low-voltage design reduces system costs and the levelised cost of electricity by two to six percentage points. The power warranty is 30 years. (nhp)
