According to Sunbooster, the Vertical+ system delivers outputs of up to 18.8 kW. Electricity can be fed into the grid via a three-phase connection or, using optimisers, routed to a string inverter with optional battery storage. Every two fence sections are connected in series, with a dual-field MPPT optimising yield for each pair of panels, even at low DC voltages.
The bifacial solar cells are inserted vertically into existing double-wire mesh fences. Sunbooster is targeting businesses and farmers with long fence lines. Existing Vertical systems can be upgraded to the new version by replacing the inverters. (nhp)
