The module (R-BG 108nBC.6) reportedly achieves a peak efficiency of 23.5 percent and delivers 480 W of power. It also features a metal-free front for a uniform black appearance and a back-contacted cell architecture designed to improve shading tolerance, potentially increasing yield on partially shaded roofs.
According to the manufacturer, the modules also offer improved protection against hotspots. Reported hotspot temperatures are up to 30 °C lower, which may enhance longevity and safety. Better space utilisation further allows installers to fit more power per roof area. (nhp)
