Small Vertex module for rooftops

Trina Solar is now launching the Vertex S+ module series for European roofs. The module in double glass design measures 210 millimetres. N-type cells are installed. The portfolio includes a transparent version with bifacial cells and an option with white encapsulation material.

For the new premium series Vertex S+, Trina Solar has opted for a lightweight double-glass design. This increases safety, lifetime and durability in harsh environments. Trina has obtained a Class A + C fire rating for the Vertex S+ in accordance with the IEC 61730:2016 standard. Trina Solar offers a 25-year extended product warranty and promises a 30-year performance guarantee with a maximum annual degradation of 0.4 per cent.

The size and weight of the module have been optimised for easy handling on the roof. The use of 1.6 millimetre thin glass reduces the module weight by 2.5 kilowatts compared to conventional glass-glass products. (mfo)
