PV Europe’s products of the week – new modules and storage

Longi has introduced the Hi-Mo X10, a solar module specifically designed to meet fire safety requirements for commercial rooftop installations. It is aimed at warehouses, data centres and logistics buildings. The Hi-Mo X10 is based on Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) 2.0 cell technology with 108 half-cells.

Tesvolt has announced the Powercore G2, a battery storage system with a capacity of 500 kilowatt-hours for commercial, industrial and smaller utility-scale projects. The system combines hardware from Chinese manufacturer Whes with Tesvolt’s proprietary software. The Powercore G2 is built on Whes hardware and uses LFP battery cells from Catl.

Fronius is presenting the Reserva Pro high-voltage battery at Intersolar in Munich, manufactured in Europe. The modular storage system can be configured from 12 to 32 kilowatt-hours per tower and expanded in parallel operation to up to 128 kilowatt-hours. The system is designed for agricultural businesses, commercial enterprises and households with higher energy needs.

Gokin Solar is detailing its portfolio for the European market, targeting two segments with distinct technologies. For large-scale solar parks and commercial installations, the company offers bifacial modules rated at 700 W. These modules generate electricity on both the front and rear sides, harnessing reflected light and delivering additional yields, particularly in ground-mounted systems. (nhp)
