Perovskite technology is considered a promising candidate for the next step in solar cell efficiency. A breakthrough in commercialisation has not yet been achieved, but progress is being made in small steps. Find out more in our weekly focus next week.

The patent partnership with sublicensing options announced by Oxford PV and Trinasolar in the spring is also considered an important step towards scaling up the new technology.
