The Crimp Counter is available as standard on certified crimping tools, with a retrofit solution for existing equipment. It automatically records every crimping operation, with an LED indicator signalling whether a service interval, set at 5,000, 10,000 or 15,000 operations, is still open, due soon or exceeded. The total number of crimps and the current service counter can be read out using an NFC-enabled smartphone via a reader app. (nhp)
