Developed in Hedingen, the latest version of the Multitool roof hook doubles the load capacity to 430 kilograms – a significant leap over standard options. With up to 30 per cent fewer fastening points needed, installers benefit from reduced material use and time savings in assembly of several hours per project.
The flexible Multitool is designed so that profile rails can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, and height is easy to adjust. The profile rail is fastened with a single screw, which also locks the set height in place.
The base plate of the hook can be used for both 39 and 44 millimetre distances and features a clever reversible design. Click-in rail technology also makes handling the modules on the roof easier. With sustainability in mind, Ernst Schweizer manufactures the roof hooks using 85 percent recycled aluminium. (nhp)
