More than 300 exhibitors have registered for the event in Düsseldorf. Exhibition halls 13 and 14 are at capacity, and over 12,000 visitors are expected. On 3 and 4 December 2025 (from 9:00 to 17:00), the seminar will draw installers from North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, northern Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Schedule of expert lectures in Düsseldorf
Exhibitor displays will be complemented by top-tier expert presentations. This year, the focus is on new business models for energy storage and digital solutions, with dynamic electricity tariffs taking centre stage. While private applications remain relevant, the spotlight is on commercial systems designed for maximum on-site consumption.
Power2heat offensive launched
For the first time, Düsseldorf is hosting a dedicated seminar forum on solar-powered heating technology. This is currently one of the hottest trends in the sector: electric surface storage heaters, infrared heating systems and screw-in heating elements are now using solar electricity for hot water and space heating.
Solar Manager – making complex systems easy (video)
The manufacturers’ association IG infrarot e.V., the Solar Solutions trade fair as well as specialist publications photovoltaik and PV Europe will be showcasing new products and solutions in a dedicated area, highlighting combinations with photovoltaics and energy storage. Many of these systems are smart-controlled to take advantage of dynamic electricity tariffs.
Installers will be able to explore new ways to supply buildings with cost-effective, efficient solar-powered heat in both new builds and, crucially, existing properties. For tradespeople, this means access to a new business area that goes well beyond heat pumps.

Rental properties in urban areas
In densely populated states such as North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony, the energy transition is not limited to single-family homes. The main challenge is the millions of rental apartments in the major cities and the Ruhr region, which need to be rapidly and affordably converted to zero-emission heating.
