Poland increasingly a solar heavyweight in Europe

Just a few years ago, photovoltaics in Poland was still in its infancy. That has changed fundamentally: in 2024 alone, the country added 4.2 GW of new capacity—more than the Netherlands (3.0 GW) and only slightly less than France (4.7 GW).
