The SMA home storage solution includes the Sunny Boy Smart Energy 5.0 hybrid inverter, the SMA Home Storage 6.5 lithium-ion battery and the SMA Energy Meter. The system is now listed in HTW Berlin’s “Stromspeicher-Inspektor” web app. With a wide input voltage range and three MPP trackers, the Sunny Hybrid is well suited to complex roof layouts. The inverter’s efficiency is supported by innovative silicon carbide technology and patented components developed specifically for the power electronics.
Power reserves improve operational reliability and, together with the optional backup solution, provide a robust backup power supply in the event of an outage. The Energy Meter measures household energy flows with high precision (every 200 milliseconds), enabling fast and low-loss control. (nhp)
