2025 marks a major milestone for Solis. Celebrating twenty years in business, the company has also played a key role in supporting the launch of its first UK utility-scale solar project at MIRA Tech Park.
KRITIS – cyber security must be a top priority
MIRA Tech Park, a centre for mobility research and development, is now home to a 7 MW solar array comprising 11,500 panels. The project was led and financed by Zestec Renewable Energy, with construction carried out by Avonside Energy. Solis supplied 21 utility-scale inverters and delivered on-site engineering support.
To mark its anniversary, Solis is offering installers throughout Europe a 30 percent discount on their first purchase of the 50 kW hybrid inverter for commercial and industrial use. The promotion is limited to six units per transaction and is available via distributors.
UK debut of 125 kW hybrid inverter
At Booth C60, Solis will debut its 125 kW hybrid inverter in the UK for the first time. Engineered for large commercial installations, the system combines solar, storage, backup and grid support within a single unit.
Key specifications:
- Battery compatibility: 100–314 Ah cells
- Efficiency: >98%
- Scalability: parallel connection for multi-MW projects
- Grid functions: dynamic reactive power control and fault ride-through capability.
Solar & Storage Live UK will take place from 23 to 25 September. (hcn)
