The collaboration between global inverter manufacturer FIMER, part of MA Solar Italy, and Romanian PV specialist Simtel covers projects including the 5.5 MW Salonta PV Park, expected to cut CO₂ emissions by 3.4 million kilograms annually, and solar facilities for retail and pharmaceutical clients delivering over 1,200 kWh/kW per year. At Farmexim SA in Iași, a 156.5 kW installation powered by three PVS-50-TL inverters produces around 1,305 kWh/kW per year.

FIMER’s PVS‑50/60‑TL and PVS‑100/120‑TL inverters play a central role in the various projects, combining high power density, multiple MPPTs (maximum power point trackers) for optimised energy capture and cloud‑based monitoring. With ratings up to 120 kW and six MPPTs, they support stable operation and help lower overall costs.
Building a resilient solar base
Ana Nedea, Director of Strategy & Business Development at Simtel: “By combining FIMER’s inverter technologies with our project expertise, we have delivered efficient and reliable solar solutions. We look forward to continuing to strengthen the renewable energy landscape in Romania and Europe.” Antonio Verdi, CEO of FIMER: “This partnership shows how technology and local expertise can work together to drive steady progress toward a sustainable energy future.”
