Wiring:

Installation duct that keeps cable fires at bay

The installation trunking, which was developed for outdoor use, is waterproof and weather-resistant. It is ideal for electrical cables that cross through fire walls, as is often the case with photovoltaic systems on flat roofs. A waterproof fire protection layer is applied to the inside of the installation duct. This reacts actively to fire and heat, foams up, stops the oxygen supply and thus prevents the fire from spreading along the installation lines inside the duct.

Advantage: The installer can easily work the sheet metal duct with standard sheet metal working tools. The comparatively low total weight of only 6.5 to 10.5 kilograms per square metre facilitates transport and handling during installation. Pyroment-IK90 A is classified in fire resistance classes I30 to I120 according to DIN 4102 Part 11. (mfo)
