The new combination arrester also provides the power supply with integrated fuse. It thus fulfils the requirement of the VDE-AR-N 4100 standard for a power supply to have a smart metering system connected from the mains-side connection panel.
This new space-saving combination arrester meets the basic normative requirements for surge protection according to DIN VDE 0100-443 as well as the lightning current discharge capacity for overhead line feeds. The manufacturer's connection technology allows simple and completely tool-free installation. The Dehnshield ZP Basic SG has already been available since late 2019. (mfo)
