Greenvolt Power, part of the Greenvolt Group and backed by KKR, has entered an exclusive agreement with Entrix to optimise and trade output from five battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Poland. The portfolio, totalling 1.3 GW and 5.2 GWh, represents one of the largest storage developments currently planned in the country.

AI-driven optimisation for Polish battery storage
Under the multi-year partnership, Entrix will deploy its artificial intelligence-based trading platform to manage the technical and commercial optimisation of these assets across key energy markets. This includes balancing services such as Frequency Containment Reserve (FCR) and Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve (aFRR), alongside day-ahead and intraday trading. These efforts aim to strengthen grid stability while improving the flexibility of the Polish power system.
