EV charging

A bidirectional EV charger developed for the European market

The wallbox charges with up to 12.8 kilowatts at 32 amps. The first e-car compatible with the bidirectional Quasar 2 charging box is the Cupra Born 77, with a storage capacity of kilowatt hours.

In the context of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G), there are various possible applications. For example, users can draw electricity from the grid when daily prices are low. If these rise again, the electricity stored in the e-car can be used.
