Chinese manufacturer Ginlong Technologies has introduced a 125 kW hybrid inverter under its Solis brand, designed for large commercial PV and storage projects. The unit supports flexible system design with ten MPP trackers and a current capacity of up to 20 A.

SMA’s new battery inverter combines integrated energy management with efficient operation in both grid-tied and off-grid systems, making it suitable for remote homes, farms and other high-demand sites. In grid-connected settings, the Sunny Island X uses its energy management functions to coordinate loads and generation, reducing peak demand and increasing self-consumption.

Vertical solar systems, such as those from Falagotti, provide an alternative to conventional rooftops and gain further value when aligned with dynamic grid tariffs. As variable tariffs become more widespread, they are redefining the profitability of solar installations. (nhp)
