New generation of colour modules

In cooperation with a colour manufacturer, the Sunovation has developed a new type of colour coating for solar glass modules. The result is a collection of coloured glass-glass modules with high aesthetics and solar performance that is only available from Sunovation. Innovative pigments ensure rich colour coverage with high transparency for optimised absorption of light on the solar cell. The colour collection ColorQuant consists of 15 exclusive colours with colour-dependent solar outputs ranging from 140 to 180 watts per square metre.

The eForm Unichrome glass-glass modules are configured according to customer requirements. The special manufacturing process (SCET technology) enables the production of precisely fitting modules with individual glass structures. The light needed to generate electricity passes through the coloured layers onto the solar cell, while the wavelengths responsible for the colouring are selectively reflected.

Unlike other coloured modules, the integrated cells remain invisible in all weather conditions and retain their coloured glass appearance from all viewing angles. (mfo)
