Innovations are a central part of the Energy Decentral trade fair for decentralised green energy supply for farms. For this reason, the DLG is presenting an award for outstanding development and solutions in this area. The application phase has already begun. All exhibitors at the trade fair, which will take place from 15 to 18 November 2022 in Hanover as part of EuroTier, can take part.
Gold and silver medals to be awarded
Suppliers of solutions for supplying farms with low-cost solar power can also apply. To win a Gold Innovation Award, the applicant must present a product with a new concept. This must involve a decisive change in the function of the solution and the approach. At the same time, its use must make a new process possible or improve a known process. A silver medal is awarded to solutions in which a known product has been further developed in such a way that a significant improvement in function and process can be expected.
Winners get media attention
In both cases, the winners will be selected by a commission that follows specific evaluation criteria and will be awarded prizes at the opening ceremony of the fair. However, they will be announced in advance so that they can promote their products with the awards beforehand and be included in the fair's new products magazine. In addition, DLG will produce a promotional video in which the jury will give reasons for its decisions.
