Sharp mono solar module with 72 cells launched

The new solar module NUSC360 from Sharp is ideal for use in large-scale commercial installations. Beside the module marks Sharp’s increasing investment in the non-residential side of its Energy Solutions business.

The NUSC360 offers the highest power output in Sharp’s range of polycrystalline and monocrystalline modules, said the company. And it is the first to feature innovative PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) technology. By employing two additional steps during the manufacturing process, the PERC architecture improves sunlight capture and optimizes electron capture.

This means that the new module can achieve higher efficiencies than standard modules, according to Sharp up to 18.5percent. Safety and quality is certified, the modules have passed the snow load test according to IEC/EN61215 with 5400Pa. The NUSC360 module is available across Europe now. (nhp)
