Krannich Solar showcases broad portfolio of PV energy storage systems at Intersolar

Recently, Krannich Solar signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese manufacturer BYD on the distribution of their energy storage systems. BYD is the world's largest manufacturer of rechargeable batteries and is already aiming to achieve a 20 percent share of the stationary storage market this year.

Flexible configurable BYD B-Box

The AC-coupled system B-Box is flexibly configurable and can be expanded in 2.5 kWh or 12.8 kWh steps. Behind the housing of each battery unit is a long-life lithium-iron phosphate battery unit with battery management system (BMS). Due to its flexible design, the B-Box can be customized for every application and impresses with the outstanding battery parameters. Krannich Solar offers the low-voltage system with the battery inverters Sunny Island from SMA and Sola X Power.

Soon a high-voltage system will be available. The B-Box H can be used, among others, with the SMA Sunny Boy Storage, which was introduced last year for the Tesla battery. In contrast to the Tesla battery, in which the high battery voltage is generated via a step-up converter, the new product is a true high-voltage system in which the high voltage is produced by a series connection of several battery modules.

"With BYD, we have won one of the world's most successful, most innovative, and fastest growing companies," said Kurt Krannich, owner and CEO of the PV and storage specialist. "With the B-Box from BYD we are getting a very flexible and innovative storage system in our portfolio, which is perfect for the private and commercial applications of our customers."

Amtron Wallbox from Mennekes

The wholesaler also offers the Amtron Wallbox from Mennekes Elektrotechnik. "In combination with storage systems such as the Axistorage Li from Axitec Energy or the B-Box from BYD, we offer attractive solutions to maximize the self-consumption of a PV system by charging an electric car," says Kurt Krannich.

The Amtron Wallbox home charging station combines design with functionality and achieves a high level of operating comfort, equipment and safety. In conjunction with the Sunny Home Manager from SMA, the user can determine how much energy is to be loaded into the electric car during which time. The intelligent use of the battery of an electric car is an important component for optimal energy control in the Smart Home.

Fast e-car charging with AXIstorage

Energy storage system AXIstorage, for example, is excellently suited for the fast charging of electric cars with its high charging and discharging capacity of up to 8.3 kW per storage unit. Compared to other accumulators, more solar current flows into the electric car. For a driving range of 100 km daily, a household with two storage units is optimally equipped.

Under the slogan "PV & energy storage systems for home, business, projects", Krannich Solar will present these and numerous other innovations in Hall A3, Stand No. 480: energy storage solutions of renowned manufacturers such as Fronius, Kostal, LG Electronics, SMA and Solar Edge as well as battery storage from LG Chem, and Mercedes (besides Axitec and BYD). The latest generation of solar modules such as Axitec modules with the 7 busbar technology and the new Neon R module series from LG Electronics will also be presented. In addition to smart solar modules, Krannich Solar demonstrates the particularly long-lasting glass-glass module from Luxor Solar. (HCN)
