Fimer introduces new charge point to the UK EV charging market

Global renewable energy equipment manufacturer Fimer has announced that its Fimer Flexa AC Wallbox family of charge points has received certification from the UK’s Office of Zero Emissions (OZEV), making it officially available for the UK market.

As manufacturers continue to expand the range of EVs available for consumers, this development is a positive sign of things to come.

In March this year, the UK government reduced the Plug-in Car Grant by £500 to £2,500 for cars priced £35,000 (previously £50,000). However, despite the cut, more than half of EV models are still eligible for the grant.
