Romania

Four-megawatt PV plant connected to grid by Photon Energy

Photon Energy Engineering Romania, Photon Energy’s Romanian subsidiary, has completed and grid-connected another photovoltaic power plant in Romania. The power plant has a generation capacity of 3.9 megawatts. 

The Verila project, which is being built in hilly terrain south of Sofia, will increase solar power generation in the country by 12 percent.

New 124 MW solar park in Bulgaria

The construction of Bulgaria’s largest solar power plant is due to be completed by spring 2023. The new power plant, south of Sofia will generate green electricity with a capacity of 124 megawatts.

Clenergy provides 44 megawatts of mounting solutions in Saudi Arabia

Clenergy has provided a 44-megawatt PV-ezRack solar installation solution for the 3A Independent Seawater Desalination Project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, bolstering the development of new energy in countries along the “Belt and Road”.

It is still a picture montage. But soon solar modules will also be supplying electricity on the south side of the Lago di Lei dam.

EWZ builds another solar plant on a dam wall in the Alps

At an altitude of about 1,900 metres, the Zurich electricity company is building a solar plant on the dam wall of Lago di Lei. The electricity will be fed into the grid via the existing hydroelectric power plant.

R.Power invests in Portugal in subsidy-free PV power plants worth PLN 160 million (EUR 35,4 million) and a capacity of nearly 60 MW.

The 148 MW Progressovka PV plant is in the Mykolayiv region. and delivers solar power for more than 76,000 households.

Ukraine: 148 MW solar plant starts operation
