Q Energy to build floating solar power plant in France

Q Energy France came first in the recent French solar tender and now has a fixed tariff and planning permission for a 66-megawatt solar project on a former gravel pit in north-eastern France.

This floating plant has 4.8 megawatts and is located at Gan HaShomron in Israel.

Belectric to build another floating solar plant

Belectric will build another floating solar plant in Israel by the end of 2022. The project developer will also take over the operation and maintenance of the plant that will have an output of almost 17 megawatts.

Baywa r.e. launches largest floating facilities outside Asia

The Baywa r.e. Group and its Dutch subsidiary Groenleven are now launching two floating PV parks in the Netherlands. The Sellingen park, with 41 megawatts, and the Uivermeertjes park, with almost 30 megawatts, are the two largest plants outside Asia.

The Kerkrade project is RWE’s first venture in ground-mounted solar in the Netherlands.

RWE has officially commissioned its first ground-mounted photovoltaic project in the Netherlands. Solar Park Kerkrade, in the province of Limburg has an installed capacity of 14.7 megawatts.

BayWa r.e. sells largest floating PV park outside of China

Bomhofsplas, the 27.4-megawatt floating-PV Park in the Netherlands, has been sold by BayWa r.e. to a Dutch energy consortium, comprising Energiefonds Overijssel, Blauwvinger Energie and a private investor, with financing support from ASN Groenprojectenfonds.
