The event is supported by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) and Spain’s Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. It is recognised as a key meeting point for the energy transition in southern Europe, targeting manufacturers, distributors, installers, engineering firms, energy service providers and public administrations. The organisers aim to attract more than 50,000 professionals to Madrid.

Madrid is positioning itself as Europe’s capital for energy transition and electrification. Genera and Matelec serve as strategic platforms to promote sustainable development and competitiveness in the sector. Running in parallel at the exhibition centre is the Climatización & Refrigeración (C&R) trade fair.
