The CSS-OD 107 has been developed for commercial and industrial installations, both indoors and outdoors. It combines a 107 kWh battery cabinet with a battery inverter rated at either 29.9 or 49.9 kW, and can be scaled up to 2.1 MWh per installation. The unit is backup-capable and designed to supply critical loads during grid outages, with a switchover time of less than 20 milliseconds. The backup function will be activated later this year via a software update.
The unit supports several optimisation modes running in parallel, including self-consumption, peak shaving, tariff optimisation and the management of feed-in and consumption limits. Factory pre-assembly and testing reduce on-site installation time. Commissioning is carried out via the CSS-OD local interface in combination with the Solaredge app. (nhp)
