Designed for commercial and industrial installations, the CSS-OD 107 can be set up indoors or outdoors. It combines a 107 kWh battery cabinet with a battery inverter rated at either 29.9 kW or 49.9 kW, and can be scaled up to 2.1 MWh per installation. The system can also supply critical loads during grid outages, switching over in less than 20 ms, although this backup function will only be activated later this year via a software update.
The unit can run several optimisation modes at the same time, including self-consumption, peak shaving, tariff optimisation and managing feed-in and consumption limits. Because it is pre-assembled and tested at the factory, installation on site takes less time, and commissioning is done through the CSS-OD’s local interface together with the Solaredge app. (nhp)
