The new system from Varta centres on a three-phase Varta Hybrid inverter delivering up to 10 kW with up to four MPP trackers, paired with the DC high-voltage Vartawall storage unit and supporting both DC and AC coupling.
Storage ranges from 4.5 to 20 kWh and can be expanded, with larger systems configured via cascading. An external Backupswitch disconnects the home from the grid during faults and enables three-phase backup supply.
Commissioning is handled via app, with monitoring through the company’s Energy Portal. The optional Varta.iq energy management system supports up to 700 peripheral devices, including PV systems, wallboxes and heat pumps, as an open platform. It also offers features such as dynamic tariff optimisation and bidirectional charging. (nhp)
