At the heart of the Ja Solar‘s portfolio is the new DeepBlue 5.0 generation of modules. This bifacial glass-glass module brings together advances in module architecture, materials and structural design, delivering a power output of up to 670 watts and a module efficiency of 24.8 percent. Production draws on TOPCon technology (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact). Ja Solar also points to the module's strong performance under low-light conditions and its low degradation rates.
Ja Solar is also presenting a new series of monofacial n-type glass-glass modules for commercial and industrial projects. These modules likewise build on the DeepBlue 5.0 platform and reach an efficiency of up to 24.7 percent. The manufacturer backs them with a 30-year performance warranty and specifies an annual degradation rate of 0.35 percent. Ja Solar is exhibiting in Munich in Hall A2 at Stand 380. (nhp)
