Equipped with PLC (Power Line Communication) technology, the intelligent junction box transmits operating data in real time via the DC cables – without additional cabling. The data is then sent to a gateway and synchronised with a cloud-based platform, allowing operators to monitor the performance of each individual module. This enables module-level monitoring to detect anomalies at an early stage. In addition, AI-supported diagnostics can be generated and potential faults rectified more quickly.
In addition to increasing yield, the Navigator module is designed to optimise operation and maintenance (O&M). In a conventional system, manually inspecting a ten megawatt plant can take ten technicians three days. With the new module's intelligent inspection tools, the same task can be completed by one person in under an hour. (nhp)
