Solar Investors Guide #1 – ELTIF 2.0 and PPAs
ELTIF & PPA: Funding Solar Projects
The reform of the European Long‑Term Investment Fund (ELTIF 2.0) gives institutional and private investors far better access to solar project investments. At the same time, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) enable returns independent of public subsidies.
Together, these two financing routes are giving the solar project business a strong boost. In 2025, significantly more private capital is expected to flow into Europe’s solar energy transition.
