Birdblocker to protect against nesting birds

Because the soiling of solar systems on pitched roofs by bird droppings is a great nuisance. The nesting under the system also disturbs the ventilation beneath it. This reduces the energy yield and increases the risk of fire. Damage to cables and modules can also result in malfunctions.

The inner frame of the solar modules usually has a suitable aluminium profile to which the Birdblocker strips can be easily and stably attached with the stainless steel clips, without the need for screws or adhesive. The strips of UV-resistant HDPE plastic are available with needles 10 (and now also 20) centimetres long to cover different gaps between module frame and roof surface. (mfo)
