SMA is using Intersolar Europe 2026 to launch a new generation of energy solutions for residential and commercial PV, with the live premiere taking place on the opening morning of the show.

The centrepiece is a new range of three-phase hybrid inverters spanning 5 to 30 kW, integrating energy management, battery storage and backup functions within a single system. The stated design priority is simplicity: reduced planning and installation complexity, scalable configuration and improved supply security through integrated backup capability. Cybersecurity and system stability are also flagged as core development criteria for the new platform.
The broader pitch is aimed at installers and EPCs looking to reduce project overhead while improving the value proposition for end customers, offering seamless integration across planning, installation and operation. (TF)
