GOLDBECK SOLAR is marking 25 years of project development at Intersolar Europe this month with a stand centred on four themes it sees as defining the next phase of large-scale solar: construction automation, battery storage, agri-PV and cybersecurity.
Poland – Goldbeck Solar lands 722 MW EPC deal
On the construction side, HeliomatiX brings standardised pre-assembly, autonomous logistics and robotic installation to utility-scale solar, with the stated aim of making large projects less dependent on skilled labour and weather.
On storage, GOLDBECK SOLAR covers the full project lifecycle from design through to operation, positioning BESS as an integral part of energy system planning rather than an add-on. Agri-PV rounds out the generation side, with the company focusing on economically viable dual-use concepts rather than experimental deployments.
Power Couples: Eurelectric's model for scaling industrial electrification
As solar and storage assets become more deeply embedded in grid infrastructure and subject to remote monitoring and control, cybersecurity sits alongside the other three themes as a requirement that must be incorporated from the outset.
"The challenges of the energy transition can no longer be solved with individual technologies," said Joachim Goldbeck, CEO of GOLDBECK SOLAR. "What matters is how well generation, storage, and consumption can be integrated." (TF)
